- Immediate Needs:
-
January 2008
Please pray and sponsor any need within the Message you feel led to assist. This may be books, tapes, mp3's from Voice of God Recordings. This may be other publishers in Africa and other countries. This may be one of the individual Churches throughout the world.
Remember, William Branham said, "And when we are doing mission work or foreign mission, with the Word of God, we know we're always in the will of God, because Jesus' first commission to His church was, "Go out and preach the Gospel." This last commission was to preach the Gospel."

We are currently beginning a clothing drive for the children in the Siberian
orphanage. We are targetting August as our ship date and this will possibly
allow us to include at least some of the quilts that are currently being
made for the children. [New Zealand is even getting involved with this
quilt project! That is fun, and thank you! However, we could still use
more quilters as there are around 200 children.]
Those of you interested in participating in the clothing drive, please
contact me. Some folks have already told me that they want to participate,
but being unable to send clothing, they want to assist in the cost of
shipping. That is a welcome offer, since that will be our biggest hurdle.
An update on Bro. Vlad's desire to go to Alushta this month and hear Bro.
Lonnie Jenkins preach...the money was raised and sent, so I hope to hear
soon that he made it with his teacher, Bro. Vitaly. Those of you who saw
the video would have seen Bro. Vlad on it quite a bit.
God bless you all for thinking of and praying for the children,

We have an immediate need in the nation of Burma (Now called Myanmar). 23
Messages of Brother Branham have been translated into various dialects
of the Burmese language. These Messages are now ready for printing, but
we have run out of funds to cover the cost of printing, materials, and
distribution throughtout Burma. This is a nation of 47 Million people.
There are now approx. 4,000
people in the Message there now. This is a very poor country, and the
local people have very little money to help cover printing cost. We are
trusting our Lord to help us by raising $2500. to get these books into
the hands of the people.
The Lord willing, I will be going back to Burma in March of this year,
2001. Please pray with us.
Thank you very much.
... I was there for over 3 weeks in Oct. 2000. Assisting
local pastors in translating the Message of the Hour into local Burmese
dialects, Cambodian dialects, Laotian dialects, Viet Namese, and Thai
languages.
Last trip we baptized 27 formerly Buddaist in the Yangon area into the Name
of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Also, 18 people were baptized in the Taunggie area.
We also are now able to get the Message into an (unspecifed country).

A Thanksgiving Thought:
The following is something to ponder..............
If you woke up this morning with more health than
illness...you are more blessed than the million
who will not survive this week.
If you have never experienced the danger of battle,
the loneliness of imprisonment, the agony of
torture, or the pangs of starvation ... you are
ahead of 500 million people in the world.
If you can attend a church meeting without fear of
harassment, arrest, torture, or death...you are more
blessed than three billion people in the world.
If you have food in the refrigerator, clothes on
your back, a roof overhead and a place to
sleep...you are richer than 75% of this world.
If you have money in the bank, in your wallet, and
spare change in a dish someplace...you are among the
top 8% of the world's wealthy.
If you hold up your head with a smile on your face
and are truly thankful...you are blessed because the
majority can, but most do not.
If you can hold someone's hand, hug them or even
touch them on the shoulder...you are blessed because
you can offer healing touch.
If you can read this message, you just received a
double blessing in that someone was thinking of you,
and furthermore, you are more blessed than over two
billion people in the world that cannot read at all.
Have a good day, count your blessings, and pass this
along to remind everyone else how blessed we all
are.

Dear Brothers and Sisters:
Greetings in Jesus precious name. I want to personally thank you on behalf
of my Brother Didier Kalambaie and the entire Kalambaie family for your many
acts of kindness and fervent prayer through this time of testing for their
family. I apologize for not writing sooner, but a very hectic schedule
combined with the fact that I along with Brother and Sister Byskal and about
115 more, are currently on tour in Israel, have hindered me from writing
sooner.
To briefly report, Brother Omer Kalambaie underwent surgery on Monday,
November 6th. By God's grace all that was found was a small, ruptured blood
vessel. No tumors or other damage. After rectifying this and cleaning out
the blood clots that had formed, Brother Omer was quickly on the road to
recovery. In fact, he progressed so well that the anticipated time of 3-5
days of Intensive care, was deemed unnecessary only after ½ an hour!!
Brother Didier was only able to visit his father on Wednesday, the 9th, just
prior to his departure back to Canada. He reported that his father was in
good spirits and sitting up. The paralysis that had afflicted him was
receding and strength in his limbs returning.
Since I too have been out of the country I am unsure at this point as to the
continued progress of healing provided through faith in our Lord. Certainly
the "storm" has passed, but there is the road to recovery ahead that our
Brother faces. We do well to continue in prayer for him and also in tangible
means of encouragement. For further details and to offer an encouraging
word, I gladly provide you with Brother Didier's personal email address at:
didierk@attglobal.net
May the Lord richly bless you all for your fervent prayers.
Brother Anthony Abma

And we pray not only for ourselves here, but for mercy for those who are in need all around the world, in the mission fields. We think tonight, in a lovely big building like this, that we're thankful for, nice-dressed, warm, and well fed people; and to think in the mission fields that men of God, without a pair of shoes on, eating one plate of rice a week, preaching the Gospel. O God, I pray for those men.
Help, O God, I pray that You'll help them, and gallant men. What will we do? As we read in the Bible where they wandered about in deserts, and was in sheepskins and goatskins, was made destitute and all of these who the world was not even worthy of; and what's our testimony going to be up beside of them at that day?
